Alpine Rd to San Gregorio St. Beach, California, USA

The Alpine Road and San Gregorio State Beach sit in the San Francisco Bay Area west of San Jose and Silicon Valley.

The route starts at a scenic viewpoint at the intersection of Alpine Road and Portola State Park Road, rides toward west until reaching California State Route 84. Makes a left turn on Route 84 and then rides all the way toward the Pacific Ocean until reaching California State Route 1 (CA 1). Shortly after making a left turn on CA 1, you will see the San Gregorio State Beach on your right side.

The route is relatively short at around 14 miles but does has some climbs and downhills and passes several charming small villages. It is not a difficult route but not easy either, most people should be able to do it.
