Allerbi bikes have separate displays for route and control/data, why do we do that?
Well, there are many reasons but all for good.
First, a separate route display without data on the screen provides rider the best feeling of the real road as in the real riding outdoor you won’t see any data on the road, so better immersive riding experience.
Second, two displays better simulate the real riding setup outdoors because most riders today have a bike computer or cellular phone attached to the handlebar, Allerbi bikes have the same setup.
Third, riders have the right to choose whatever size of the screen for the route, no matter it is a TV or a projector. Isn’t that cool?
Also, a separate touch screen for control and riding data provide a more convenient interface for riders to operate and read.
So yeah, there are many reasons behind our decision to separate displays for route and control, but the ultimate goal is to provide better riding experience.
