We have announced earlier that we are in the progress of developing the Allerbi Core, a product targets riders who already have their regular bikes and smart bike trainers.
The Allerbi Core will have the same computing power and run on the same software and content as Allerbi Upright, but in stead of generating resistance by itself like Allerbi Upright, Allerbi Core connects to the 3rd party smart trainer and reply on them to generate resistance and provide riding data. Some function may also be affected, for example the Multiple Riding Mode, as we are not able to control the resistance of 3rd party smart trainer as accurately as we do on our own resistance device.
The below picture shows we are testing the Allerbi Core using a Trek road bike and a Wahoo Kickr as smart trainer.
The price of Allerbi Core will be much lower than Allerbi Upright but its overall performance will be largely affected by the 3rd party smart bike trainer.
