Puerto Natales is a small and beautiful port city on the Señoret Channel in Chile’s southern Patagonia. The city is well known among hikers around the world because it is considered the gateway to the magnificent Torres del Paine National Park, a paradise for hikers.
Puerto Natales is around 110km (68mile) to Amarga, the entrance to the Torres del Paine National Park, it is around 245km (152mile) to Punta Arenas, a bigger port city sitting beside the Strait Magellan. There are buses among these three places.
This rout starts from the Shell gas station just outside of the city and rides along Ruta 9 (Route 9) to the city. It passes the beautiful waterfront Ave Pedro Montt, makes a left turn at Francisco Cortes Ojea, then rides toward the Plaza de Armas and ends over there.
The route is around 4.4km (2.74mile), a short city route and rides only a small part of the city, but it can still give you a rough picture of the city.
