The Gazos Creek route is a beautiful route combined of mountain rides and coastal rides in the state of California, United States. It is regarded as one of the top cycling routes in California by some websites and indeed a very popular route among local cyclists.
The route starts at Gazos Creek Año Nuevo State Park on California 1 (SR 1/CA 1), rides toward mountain along the Gazos Creek Road and Cloverdale Road. At Pescadero Creek Road, makes a left turn to Pescadero Creek Road and rides toward the coast. At the intersection with Bean Hollow Road, makes another left turn to Bean Hollow Road and rides all the way to California 1. Ride along CA1 the route stops at the Gazos Creek Año Nuevo State Park.
This route is around 18 miles with beautiful mountain and coastal views, there are many farms along the route together with several charming villages. It is a medium difficult route and definitely worth riding.
