This route starts from the historical Amargosa Opera House, then ride along the California State Route 190 heading west towards the Death Valley National Park. The routes ends at Death Valley National Park Pay Station, an unmanned pay station representing the entrance of the national park.
This route is beautiful and peaceful, not many traffic in an April morning. Though outside of Death Valley National Park, it still let you feel the Death Valley especially when the route approaching the pay station.
The route is in good condition, the total length is 18 miles (29 km). While the first half of the route is more towards up, the second half is mainly downhill as you are approaching Death Valley, which has the lowest altitude of North America.
