Copper Harbor is a small town located at the northern tip of the Keweenaw Peninsula, Michigan and is the northernmost permanently populated community in the state. Once a port for shipping copper mined from local deposits during the mid-19th century, and also because of its natural environment and surroundings, Copper Harbor is an all-season tourist destination.
This route starts from Eagle River Falls on M-26 to Phoenix, Michigan and then makes a left turn onto US-41 (U.S. Highway 41), which is one of the most beautiful road in the country during the Fall of the year. The route passes Copper Harbor and ends at The Beginning of US Highway 41, which is around 2 miles east of Copper Harbor.
This beautiful route in Michigan Upper Peninsula was taken in the first weekend of October, when the color of the tree leaves about to peak. The route is around 25.1 miles (40.4 km) with uphill and downhills, it is a great ride.
