Golden Gate Bridge – Northbound route, starts from the Fort Point National Historic Site and ends at Presidio Riding Club Trail parking lot, is a beautiful city route in San Francisco, California but also a quite challenge route.
The Fort Point National Historic Site is at the foot of the Golden Gate Bridge, after a short pleasant easy ride, you have to climb a pretty steep hill to the Golden Gate Bridge Visitor Center. Pass through the visitor center, turn right then you are on the world famous Golden Gate Bridge heading to the North!
Continue riding after Golden Gate Bridge then you will reach the Baker-Barry Tunnel, a tunnel that is shared by vehicles and bicycles. After the tunnel you will be on the Bunker Road with beautiful rural views, after some easy ride you will reach the end of the route at Presidio Riding Club Trail parking lot on the right side of the Bunker Road.
