Golden Gate Bridge – Southbound, San Francisco, USA

Golden Gate Bridge – Southbound route, starts from Presidio Riding Club Trail parking lot on the Bunker Road at the north side of Golden Gate Bridge and ends at the trailhead of the Lands End Trail at the south side of the bridge. This is a beautiful city route in San Francisco, California but also quite a challenge route.

After riding to east on the Bunker Road for a couple of miles, the route makes a right turn to McCullough Road and all the way climbing to a roundabout with Coastal Trail Parking lot beside. Exiting the roundabout to the Conzelman Road, the route features a big downhill leading to the Golden Gate Observation Deck while experiencing some really beautiful views of the San Francisco Bay and the Golden Gate Bridge along the route. Continues on the Conzelman Road the route will pass Golden Gate View Point, another excellent spot to appreciate beautiful views. Shortly after the Golden Gate View Point the route reaches the bridge level and starts to head to Golden Gate Bridge.

After Golden Gate Bridge the route exits to the Lincoln Blvd and stays on the Lincoln Blvd to the end of the route, the Land Ends Trail access point.

The ride is beautiful and rides cross the world famous Golden Gate Bridge, it also brings rider the views from north side of the bridge which a lot of visitors don’t visit.
