Phoenix is the capital and the biggest city in Arizona, United States, with a population of 1,608,139 based on 2020 data. Although most people may have heard about its hot weather in summer, not many people are aware of its very pleasant winter, which is one main reason that has attracts many people moving to the city, according to many locals.
This route starts from Phoenix Center on 3rd Street and ends at the same point. In between the route rides south and north direction on 2nd Street, 1st Street, Central Avenue and 1st Avenue between Roosevelt Street and Washington Street before heading to West along Washing street to Arizona Capital Museum.
The route then makes a left turn on 19th Avenue and then makes a left turn again on Jefferson Street heading to East. At 4th Street the route turns right heading to South and then makes a left turn on Lincoln Street toward 7th Street. At 7th Street the route makes a left turn toward North, at Van Buren Street turns left and head back to the starting point.
The total route length is around 9 miles (14 km), all flat and easy to ride, a typical Allerbi city route. The route has passed many Phoenix landmarks, including Phoenix Center, Children Museum, St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Basilica, Symphony Hall, Phoenix Convention Center, Herberger Theater Center, ASU Downtown Phoenix Campus, Phoenix City Hall, Arizona Financial Theatre, Wesley Bolin Memorial Plaza, Arizona Capitol Museum, Footprint Center, Chase Field, and Arizona Science Center.
This is an absolutely fun route to ride, and like all other Allerbi city routes, you don’t need to worry about traffic lights, no waiting, just ride and enjoy the city!
