Øvre Oscarshaug Viewpoint is in the north-east direction of Skjolden, a small beautiful village located at the end of the Lustrafjorden, a branch of the Sognefjorden, the longest fjord in Norway.
Driving along Fv55 from Skjolden, you will first pass the spectacular Åsafossen Waterfall, then Fortun Scenic Viewpoint and Nedre Oscarshaug Viewpoint before reaching the Øvre Oscarshaug Viewpoint. It is absolutely a beautiful route to ride.
This route is around 19.2 km/ 12 mile starting with relatively flat road, after Fortun the route makes a right turn and starts to climb and all the way to its destination. So although the route is not very long, it is very challenging as well as very rewarding.
The good news is, with the features of Multiple Riding Mode and Virtual Shifting from Allerbi, most people should be able to complete the climb and enjoy the beautiful view along the route.
You can have a quick view of the route through this video at Allerbi Youtube, enjoy!
